About us

In 1990, our idea was born, to offer hand-made gingerbread specialties from Nuremberg in the Internet for sale. Opposed to the production of the so-called "mass-commodity" from the factories, the emphasis of our business model in the small-scale manufacturing, especially the finest use of raw materials and the waiver of the addition of artificial flavorings or preservatives.


This type of production, which allows only a limited volume of production, we can offer products that differ significantly in quality, flavor and freshness from the industrial products of manufacturing processes.
The sale and delivery of this traditionally products through the medium of the Internet combines the tradition with modernity.
 
Our gingerbread business  is a family operation. 
 

Gerd Klinger is the owner of this business. He learned the profession of pastry chef. After his training he moved to the patisserie, and collected professional experiences in selected hotels . He finished a subsequent diplom study of hotel business administration in 1989.
Since 1990 he has been working part time as a flight attendant for Lufthansa German Airline. There he is responsible for the care of the top customers in First Class. 
   
 
His father Joseph completed his training as a so called "Lebküchner" in the traditional company "Häberlein & Metzger" in Nuernberg. Subsequently he was working in important  senior positions in some of  Nurembergs leading gingerbread factories over 35 years before he retires.
 
Today, he coordinates the production of our gingerbread specialties and saves the high quality of our products by his extensive experience. 
  
We are actively supported by other family members in packaging and global shipping of our specialties.
